[saag] Follow-up on SKEX BoF IETF122

HI SKEX, SAAG,


First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the SKEX BoF
yesterday. A special thanks to the chairs, Yaron and Alexey, and AD Paul
for guiding the discussion.


To me it was an engaging and interesting discussion providing good insights
and viewpoints, questions, and challenges raised. While opinions differed,
it’s clear there’s interest in how and where SKEX fits in and whether
existing mechanisms like Kerberos, PKI, and PQC already address the
problem, or if we need something new.


As concluded in the BoF, we should continue this discussion on the SKEX
mailing list to refine the problem statement, better articulate use cases
and explore possible next steps.
