My understanding is that AES128-SHA1 is about as fast or faster than 
RC4-MD5 on modern processors due to AES-NI extensions (see 
http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/white-papers/open-ssl-performance-paper.pdf).
