All, Our US Government sponsor has provided BAE Systems (formerly DigitalNet) with minimal funding to provide minimal support to the CML, SFL, ACL and eSNACC software through 30 September 2005. BAE Systems will provide email support for these libraries while providing minimal updates. We are still seeking additional funds in order to continue enhancing the libraries to meet the current standards and needs of the user community. We plan to deliver a new version of the CML that supports OCSP by March 2005. We also plan to deliver updated versions of the SFL, ACL and eSNACC at that time. There is still a significant amount of valuable work that needs to be performed to enhance the SFL, CML, ACL and eSNACC libraries. Unless additional funds are provided by the Government and/or other customers, there will not be sufficient funds to make any further significant enhancements to the CML, SFL and ACL libraries beyond the March release. We do plan to make enhancements to the eSNACC ASN.1 toolkit beyond the March release. Further details will be provided in a later message. See http://www.DigitalNet.com/knowledge/sec_libraries.htm for further information regarding the SFL, CML, ACL and eSNACC freeware libraries. ====================================== Susan Joseph, BAE Systems Project Manager, SMP ======================================
