Multihomed SCTP end point

Hi Brain,
I have one doubt regarding the multihomed SCTP end point. The
scenarios is as follows.
The SCTP association is multihomed at both end. (Say Endpoint-A has IP
address as IP1 and IP 2 and Endpoint-B has IP address IP3 and IP4).
During data communication it was found that the IP2 is un-plugged and after
some time IP1 also get failed. Should the endpoint-A retransmit data from
IP2???
In the current scenario the IP2 does not exist in the system. and the
association does not have latest information about the IP2.
