Hi Srinivas, Its not possible to answer your query without more information (type of configuration for starters, a wireshark trace etc). However, ASPUP does not specify that the destination is up. Kindly check on the wireshark trace whether a subsequent ASPAC (ASP Active) messages were exchanged between the two nodes. HeartBEAT/HEARTBEAT-ACK just denotes that the Association is up (at SCTP level) and not necessairly that the "destination" is up and active.
