Pre-draft of -02

OK, we've got stuff to work with now. Jim Schaad give me a whole slew of 
examples, and I've put together a version of -02 of the draft. I wanted to 
give this list a few days to look at it before I turned it in, in case 
there is anything egregiously wrong. It would be grand if some of you could 
start validating Jim's examples (and turning in more of your own!), but we 
don't need to wait for that.
