RE: comments and corrections for draft-ietf-smime-examples-06

All,

We extracted the example data directly from the Examples-06 document.  We
performed the following tests using the S/MIME Freeware Library (SFL). 

Like Steve and others, we were unable to verify the signature of Examples
5.1, 5.3, 5.6 and 5.7 using the SFL.  

We successfully verified Examples 5.2, 5.4, 5.5, 5.11, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3,
11.4 and 11.6 using the SFL.  We did not test Example 11.5 today.

We successfully decrypted Examples 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.9, 6.10 and 6.11
using the SFL.  We did no test all of the encrypted examples today.  

We plan to continue testing the Example-06 samples to determine if there are
any other samples that we can't successfully decrypt or verify using the
SFL.  We will provide a complete report early next week.
