The S/MIME arc contains an assignment for this OID.
id-smime OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { iso(1) member-body(2)
us(840) rsadsi(113549) pkcs(1) pkcs9(9) 16 }
id-aa OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { id-smime 2 } -- attributes
id-aa-signatureType OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { id-aa 28 }
I cannot find an RFC that makes use of this OID. Does anyone know where it it used? It seems to be related to the Domain Security stuff in RFC 3183, but it is not used in that document.
If no one can point me to a place where this OID is used, I will mark it "reserved and obsolete".
