I will be honest. I would be happier with an update of this document rather than just having the errata. I would be happy to look at this in a couple of days and see if I can make the text clearer than it currently is. I find the text that does the same thing in RFC5480 to be hard to decipher but the easiest thing might still just be to point to that document for how to do this.
