And likewise Postfix, since ~1997.  So "for" is typically
supported on the mainstream open-source MTAs.  Even Google
adds a "for" clause in at least some messages:

    Received: from mail-sor-f73.google.com (mail-sor-f73.google.com. [209.85.220.73])
        by mx.google.com with SMTPS id h15sor2642110ila.35.2021.06.25.08.35.32
        for <[email protected]>
        (Google Transport Security);
        Fri, 25 Jun 2021 08:35:32 -0700 (PDT)
