There have been repeated requests for additional examples.  None has 
been forthcoming.

The draft conforms to those examples, other than the prefatory freeform 
text in the one mailing list example.

Interestingly, the new, competing specification also uses addr-spec.

So apparently it is competing on description rather than substance.
