Hi,

There will be no meeting of the SNMPv3 WG during IETF55.

The RFCs for SNMPv3 have been assigned and for the past three weeks the
documents have been going through a thorough final author 48-hour review.

We have been unable to get interoperability testing for RFC2576, and thus
cannot advance it on the standards track. Russ, Bert, and I have been
discussing this, and we are leaning toward asking that 2576bis be published
as a BCP. Does anybody have any objection to this approach?

After handling the 2576bis document, we propose to shut down the WG. Does
anybody have any objection to that approach?

Thanks,
dbh
