Hi George and Nico,

it would be great, if at least the introductory sentences have some
correctness:

1. Introduction:

(a) The maximum validity period of publicly trusted TLS certificates
has been reduced repeatedly.  

pls. replace by:

A policy to reduce the maximum validity period of publicly trusted TLS
certificates is currently enforced by the issuers.

(b) The stated motivation is to bound the exposure created by a stolen
or mis-issued certificate.

pls replace:

The stated motivation is to minimize the abuse duration and thus impact
given by a stolen or disclosed key file accompanying the certificate.
