Hi all, Alexey suggested asking the media-types list to review the submission below and consider whether the IESG should be asked to approve audio/wav as a grandfathered media type, per RFC 6838, Appendix A. It doesn't appear that anyone's available to write an RFC to register this. A couple of notes on the submission: We could use an entry for the contact field (and contact information for the change controller). The submitter's name and address would be removed before publication. In the published specification field, the submitter initially wrote, "I do not know of any single source of truth published specification from Microsoft," and pointed to that wikipedia entry.
