I agree with the sentiment that it has consumed an inordinate amount of
people's time and emotional energy. But I absolutely do not agree with
drawing the conclusion from that that the registration be approved.

Asking that the Security Requirements of
https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc6838.html#section-4.6 be met is well
within the purview of evaluating a registration request.
