To the Media Types Community,

I am writing to request a community review for a new media type
registration in the Vendor Tree: application/vnd.fdd.

The Formatted Data Document (.fdd) is a secure, logic-less, and AI-native
document format designed to bridge the gap between human-readable UI and
machine-verifiable data. It uses a "Data-First" architecture (JSON-LD)
wrapped in a declarative HTML/CSS shell to eliminate the security risks
associated with scriptable attachments while providing a high-trust
interactive experience.

Subtype name: vnd.fdd
Required parameters: N/A
Optional parameters: N/A
Encoding considerations: binary (FDD files are UTF-8 encoded but may
contain long lines and NUL octets common in JSON/HTML structures).
Security considerations: The format is strictly "logic-less" and forbids
JavaScript execution. It utilizes the "Security Shield" methodology to
strip active content. Integrity is managed via an integrated Signature
Block using JWS and Ed25519 public keys.
Interoperability considerations: Relies on standard web technologies (HTML,
CSS, JSON-LD) and Schema.org vocabularies for cross-platform data exchange.
