Hello, During the last IETF meeting, I noted some comments and remarks about t= he ID draft-ietf-udlr-dvmrp-conf-02.txt. I tried to sum up them here: * To modify the abstract: to suggest/propose a configuration of DVMRP o= ver a UDL to reduce DVMRP scalability issue (it is not only a presentation of DVM= RP over a UDL and a return link channel using LLTM). * In section 2 (DVMRP over a UDL): addition of a section about dvmrp implementation (version, OS used, ...?) * In section 2.3 (Passive mode configuration on receivers): to underlin= e the fact that a modification is required on receivers. The new commands are= explained in the section 2.3.2 (Receiver configuration and behaviour). * In section 2.3.1 (Feed configuration and behavior when almost receive= rs are in passive mode): to replace "mtest program" by "an application to join a = multicast group". * To rename the section 2.4 (how to switch between active to passive mo= de) "When to switch between active to passive mode ", this section will explain = when it is necessary to switch between the two modes and then how. * In section 3.1 (Application using a Reliable multicast transport prot= ocol): to add explanations about NACK (sent in multicast by the active receive to= the multicast source, the feed forwards the NACK message to the multicast s= ource and to the UDL too). * In section 4 (Other network architectures): to add an introduction to= explain why we describe these topologies. *... Is it all ? If you have some other comments do not hesitate to send the= m! We will take them into account into the next version. Best Regards C=E9line Benassy-Foch E-Mail : [email protected] =
