We do intend to make the NSS syntax hierarchical but it's a work in progress at this time as we align on use cases across CTA.

Hi Zack,

Thank you for submitting this request. It looks to be quite straightforward.

One question: apparently the namespace is completely flat, with each NSS
existing under the "root" of urn:cta. Do you foresee the need to
introduce additional structure in the NSS or will they all simply be
bare identifiers under the namespace root?
