My personal opinion is that this DTD still needs some review. In addition, 
I have not gotten a strong endorsement for much more than processing as an 
informational standard.
The "standard" vCard remains RFC 2426. If you want interoperability today, 
best to use that RFC, rather than this XML DTD.
However, as XML usage increases, I would expect that attention will be 
focused on this DTD.
