Greetings. Thanks to the efforts of many of you, the Internet vCard was published by the IETF as a proposed standard (RFC 2426) on September 1998. One of the next tasks for those of us interested in this technology, is to begin the process of interoperability testing of this specification. This process will undoubtably require ongoing dialog about details of the specification. This mailing list is intended as a common forum for these discussions. In addition, it is inevitable that this technology will need to be modified/updated as a result of vCard implementation experience. This mailing list is also intended as a common for these discussions. In general, this mailing list intended to be used for any discussions related to the continued maintenance of the Internet vCard specification. This mailing list is NOT intended for discussing vCard implementations, except as they relate to interpretation/clarificaiton/correction of the Internet vCard specification. That kind of discussion should be held on the [email protected] mailing list. This list is for specification work; the IMC vCard mailing list is for implementation discussions. If you have any concerns/problems with the mailing list operation, please contact Paul Hoffman/Director IMC ([email protected]). - - Frank Dawson (See attached file: myvcard.vcf)(See attached file: myvcard-v30.vcf)
