Section 2.1.4 of the vCard version 2.1 specification discusses grouping vCard objects. The web based application that I'm writing has a requirement for users to have the ability to download contact information in vCard format. It would be much nicer for the users if they could download serveral vCards at once rather than one at a time. We decided that our target user isn't sophisticated enough to deal with a zip utility so it looks like one vCard at a time is all they're going to get.
