SDK: licensing, distribution etc

Hi all

Some while ago, there was SDK. This sdk was used in a tool vcf2ldif. Now
I would like to create the project on www.sourceforge.net to host this
tool - and the question about SDK, its licence etc, was brought up.
Could anyone please comment on this issue? What is a licence for the
source code? Any info would be very welcome.
