Except "it is fine to do that" means "you can do that if you want to"
it doesn't mean "everyone must do that".
I wouldn't object to text that notes that this may be a useful thing to
do sometimes, but I would object to anything that mandated this. And
object much more to anything that even pretended that "defend all my LL
addresses on all my interfaces" was even a rational approach.
