Hear, hear. An enormous loss. Though my contact with him was limited to a bit of help researching the legal regime for data retention, I had admired Caspar since my very early University days and was flattered to get to talk to him at all. I think Jacob Appelbaum put it well: "He was a voice of moral and legal leadership in the privacy community. He will be deeply and sorely missed." - https://twitter.com/ioerror/status/619105497619296256 On 9 July 2015 at 15:37, Peter Fairbrother <zenadsl6186-1HOZaDBbGgxaa/[email protected]> wrote: > http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/07/09/caspar_bowden_dies_cancer_battle/ > > > Lost a good man, and a good friend, today. > > RIP Caspar.
