While I can think of some of the reasons why this might be so, i'd like to
hear your reasons for thinking the same - SACD is AFAICT not 'DRMed'.

As an aside, I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has ever compiled figures
for how much of the music industry profits in the 80s/90s were due to repeat
purchases of music that consumers already owned.
