"Evil Linux zealots wrote MyDoom": http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/3457823.stm Does anyone else strongly suspect that MyDoom was commissioned by SCO or MS as part of their MS-funded (I guess) attach on Linux and open source? Or that SCO/MS gave a big back-hander to this journalist to write this nonsense? There was another article on MyDoom that pointed out that the virus author indicated with an embedded message that he was being paid to write the virus. It is not beyond belief that SCO or Microsoft would do this. Notice also that the virus reportedly uses the Kazaa network. So from the point of view of the "MyDoom publicity stunt", on the side of 'evil' we have: Linux zealots and Kazaa. And on the side of 'good' and 'innocent victims' we have: MS and SCO. And Bill Gates is going to save us all from spam? All we ask is a dialogue that says: "If you run this untrusted executable, you risk installing a virus on your machine."
