Quite. ISTR that Which did a piece on portable music
players a while ago which pointed this out, too. It's not
nearly well-enough aired.

(I've also seen statements of the form `the record
industry will not sue over use of iPods' -- but of course
such an indulgence could be withdrawn at any time and is
of little value.)
