I don't have any sympathy for someone that downloads 10,000 songs and has never paid for their music. It's illegal, and I consider it to be morally wrong. I might occasionally download a song that I can't find anywhere else, like 'In the year 2525' by Zager and Evans, or 'I'm the Doctor' by Motorhead, so yes there is a smidgeon (sp?) of hypocrisy in my stance, but none of the music on my iRiver iHP120 was downloaded. It was all ripped off my own CDs, so I have now joined the ranks of civil disobedience in performing this illegal act. Come and get me, BPI!
