RE: FFII news: ACCU conference panel on softwa re pat ents, Oxford, ThursdayApril 15.

I thought my mail filters were messed up, as I was surprised to see an ACCU
email in my Sklyarov folder.

I'm a member of the ACCU, but sadly am not able to attend the conference
this year. I would imagine that the panel will be fairly one-sided, as most
ACCU people are at least mildly anti-establishment, at least the vocal ones
are. I don't know what kind of sacrificial opponent they have rounded up a
for this session.

Having said that, I was astonished that a representative from Microsoft got
a round of applause at conference last year, and even more so that I was
joining in.
