He has several other engagements arranged not publicly listed such as a non-public speech he's doing 9am on the 26th as part of the ICSE (international software engineering conference), and informal meetings with people as well as seeing Edinburgh which he has not been to before. I would guess myself that it would be too late and undesireable to arrange anything inbetween those dates set out, but I can't speak for RMS or other date organisers. We are having meeting in Edinburgh tonight to finalise Edinburgh hosting arrangements. I am happy to email my phone number to anyone who wants it. cheers, Micah http://j12.org/sb/ -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Free-sklyarov-uk] RMS also talking in Bristol, Edinburgh, Dublin Date: Thu, 13 May 2004 20:35:29 +0100 From: James Heald <j.heald-hclig2XLE9Zaa/[email protected]> To: Jim Peters <[email protected]> CC: free-sklyarov-uk-Sspga/[email protected], Ciaran O'Riordan <[email protected]> References: <[email protected]> Thu 20 May Chislehurst, Kent "Copyright vs Community" http://cubicgarden.com/copyright/ Sat 22 May Bristol, 2pm "Copyright vs Community in the Age of Computer Networks" http://www.watershed.co.uk/exhibition/digital/listings/plugincinema.html Mon 24 May Dublin, 7.30 pm "The Danger of Software Patents" Trinity College Dublin: Hamilton building, MacNeill theatre being organised by IFSO Thu 27 May Edinburgh. 3pm "The Free Software Movement and the GNU/Linux Operating System" University of Edinburgh, School of Infomatics http://www.movingpages.org/MoinWiki/RichardStallman According to Hartmut Pilch, who's just been in E. I haven't been directly in touch with RMS, so I don't know what his movements/arrangements are in the UK. (Ciaran, do you know any more?) Would this be possible / a good idea ?
