This appeared at the patent office copyright site late last week (dated 23 July): http://www.patent.gov.uk/copy/notices/2004/consultation.htm Perhaps a useful place to register grass-roots opinion on industry pressure to increase copyright terms for audio recordings. And any other issues, like the recent court decision in the UK to outlaw mod chips, despite there being plenty of non-infringing uses for such devices. Not to mention the macrovision decision in german courts - there's no way macrovision (the analogue form) can be considered an "effective protection measure" under EU definition of the term. Dave
