No, Tom was the one who thought his British perspective might be
distorted, and you were agreeing.  I wasn't saying your British
perspective was distorted, just that you might be wrong about his
perspective being more distorted than some of the people you're
hanging out with in the States now.

It also occurred to me that maybe getting rid of Bush is just like
shooting the messenger.  Maybe it would all come around again anyway,
unless there is a real shift in opinion.  Something has to change,
anyway.

Well, I'm going to stop spouting nonsense now and get back to digging
my bunker and stocking up on tinned food.
