Hello Stefan,
first, sorry for writing wrong name.
make another error. the problem exists by running ac-adapter too when using
"automatic" adjustment in bios by powermanagement. When changing bios option
to "performance" mp3-files are played normally.
I´m almost sure that this problem apears when changing kernelversion to
2.4.22 where acpi patch is included. but i can not verify because i´ve
delete the previous patch kernel.
i´ve looked to /etc for assumed files but there´s nothing called acpi*.
so i described what i did with to get my actual running system:
- installed knoppix on harddisk.
- patched kernel with acpi_custom-patch from your page and copy your samsung
p10 patch (slightly modiyfied because of systemmemory) to right site.
- patched kernel with suspend-patch
- patch kernel with cpufreq-patch
- make my kernelconfig and make dep ..... install kernel
- dmesg looks like this:
