I am not sure if this is the right place for it, but it seems that there is a bug with how acpid works. When loading the usbcore module (modprobe) using a script through acpid the module can't be unloaded again. It locks up on rmmod marked as deleted. The locking point was in drivers/usb/hub.c, function usb_hub_cleanup, on the line: wait_for_completion(&khubd_exited); This was called from drivers/usb/usb.c, function static void __exit usb_exit(void); It does work fine with a small perl script that does the same thing, so the bug is with something acpid does. If anyone has any better ideas on where to send this it would also be nice. -- Micha Feigin [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by OSDN developer relations Here's your chance to show off your extensive product knowledge We want to know what you know.
