HI. I've been trying to figure out what il the situation with the sleep/suspend options for acpi on my COmpaq 710EA. I've found non recent info in the web. All old stuff. Even ww.tuxmobile.org wasn't very helpfull. Most of acpi seems to work correctly on my Debian Woody 2.4.22 kernel (batt, C2 Cpu state, ect.) however I can't figure out how to use sleep/suspend stuff. I seem to understand that this had to be done with third party software in the past but now I did a 'cat /pro/acpi/sleep' and got a S0 S3 S4 S5 So a suspend to ram is implemented on my laptop? Must I be aware of anything else? The kde laptop daemon is reporting that it is not supported. Who must I believe? :-) Bye ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive?
