I am testing going into S3 mode via 'echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep'. I get messages (powering down hard disk) on my screen that seem to indicate it is working. But my keyboard goes to sleep too. How do I get out of S3 back to normal mode (S0)? kernel/Documentation/power/states.txt says "STR requires some minimal boot-strapping code to resume the system from STR." How do I do that? If there is an ACPI HOWTO that covers more than installation, would you point me in the right direction? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials. Become an expert in LINUX or just sharpen your skills.
