It now powers off correctly. :) The fan isn't whirring at 100miles an
hour, but it's still on (quietly) a fair amount. I'm running debian stable
right now so I can't test the acpi interface which is only available in
unstable. I'm planning to upgrade soon so I'll be able to test everything
then.

In my /lib/modules/a directory I have the following modules:

I've loaded them like this: Should I be loading them in a different order, 
or is this ok?

(plus the toshiba one which I haven't loaded as I have an Acer)

The rest were all compiled in using "Y" instead of "M". I still don't
understand why they're not ospm_*. Does anyone else know why this is?
