Hello! I got a Acer Aspire 1302XV with an AMD Athlon mobile XP 1600+ with a RedHat 9 on it. i recompiled the kernel 2.4.20 with the patched acpi drivers in it. It works just fine (battery info, cpu,...) My problem is that the laptop switches the fan on at about 80°C and off at about 66°C. Is this temperature for this cpu okay or is it to hot? The states active0 and active1 do not exist. Thanks for your help... andre
