[ACPI-sppt] dell inspiron 5100 freezing with 2.4.20 and aspi-20021212

I have a Dell inspiron 5100 laptop. I recently added the aspi-20021212
patch to the 2.4.20 kernel, and I'm as using the DSDT tables from
acpi.sf.net site.

My laptop has started freezing up after an hour or two, and can only be
reset using alt sysreq'ing S-U-B.

I'm going to update the DSDT to one that was posted on 2003-6-13, but
was wondering if there are any other possible causes.
