Hello.

I tried to switch my notebook from APM to ACPI, which nearly succeeded. The
system runs fairly stable (I had two random hangups when restarting the X
server) but I get kernel error messages from ACPI when I plug the ac adapter
in or out. When plugging out, the logs say:

What is wrong here?

My notebook is a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C-6637 with a 1000 MHz Pentium III
(Coppermine) CPU running Debian GNU/Linux (woody) with kernel version 2.4.20,
patched with the ACPI patch 20021212, which seems to me to be the latest
patch for the 2.4.20 kernel. I also patched against cpufreq which works fine
with intel's speedstep (acpi does not).

greets
-Andreas
