Hi all, I have a Dell Latitude D800 and have installed the 2.4.21-ac4 kernel with ACPI support. I notice that when loading the processor.o module, I see all the performance states under /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/performance but I cannot switch between them. If I use the pre-compiled processor.o from the Intel developer pages I can switch perfectly between the different states. So my question is: what is the difference between these two modules? Is Intel going to release the source code of its module so that the actual module can be improved? Cheers, Eddie. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
