Well, i'm seeing rather odd stuff in /proc/acpi on my Sharp MV12W 
running 2.4.21-pre2 (with the built in acpi support).  For example, in 
/proc/acpi/battery i have:
# ls -l
total 0
dr-xr-xr-x    2 root     root            0 Jul  4 22:23 0
dr-xr-xr-x    2 root     root            0 Jul  4 22:23 0


I've uploaded my /proc/acpi/dsdt here if someone could guide me on 
whether it needs to be tweaked:
