[ACPI-sppt] No ACPI Battery info for Inspiron 1100

Hi ACPI List

I'm trying to get battery info on my spanky new Inspiron laptop. I
installed the ACPI patch against kernel 2.4.21, and it partly works (I
have thermal info and AC-adaptor status). However, I don't have any
battery status info, which is my primary reason for needing ACPI.

I have no listing in /proc/acpi/battery, ie the directory is empty.

I have compiled all the ACPI stuff directly into the kernel. My dmesg
ouput is below, in case it proves useful.

Cheers and TIA

Damien
