Hi,
I have an ASUS P2B-DS motherboard with BIOS version 1013 (This is a dual
processor motherboard). When I boot using Linux 2.4.22-pre5, one of the
processors aways spends about 50% to 60% of it's time in system (as
shown by top).
When I added
{"ASUS\0\0", "P2B-DS ", 0, ACPI_DSDT, all_versions, "Bogus PCI
routing", 1},
to the acpi/blacklist.c file and recompiled, the system behavior was
normal.
( I copied the above line from the ASUS P2B-S line in the blacklist
file, so I don't know if the comment about bogus PCI routing is
correct.)
How can I provide more information to help diagnose the issue?
Thanks
Stephen
