[ACPI-sppt] 2.6.0-test1 freeze

Oddly, this basically started happening after making my machine dual-boot win2kpro, but anyhow..

I just successfully compiled and installd the 2.6.0-test1 kernel.
Booting freezes during ACPI initialization and the last line on the
screen is:

Executing all Device _STA and_INI methods:........................_



Before that is the line:
Initialized 29/29 Regions 30/30 Fields 42/42 Buffers 31/31 Packages (1072 nodes)

Any ideas about what might be happening there or what I might try next?
