Hi all, I managed ACPI installation by recompiling kernel 2.4.21-0.18mdk without APIC and without APM. All works fine, battery, OK, CPU temperature OK... but when i halt, I stay at "power down" state. Should I define this with ACPI daemon ? Cpu freq doesn't work, but i think it's not implemented under Mandrake :) so... did someone try to patch a mandrake kernel with CPU freq ? ANd where can i find it for 2.4.21 kernel ? (and an howto if possible :) ) Thanks a lot, this mailing list is very interesting and now i have a 100% linux laptop... (without ACPI i was a little afraid of use it... ) JB ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: VM Ware With VMware you can run multiple operating systems on a single machine.
