If you follow Bryan's steps you will have everything (battery monitor etc 
etc), except processor/performance/status. Revision17, could you please 
try this with your RH9 installation?

2 ACPI QUESTIONS:

(1) Is it possible do to acpi patches against kernel-2.4.20.SuSE or 
against any other distribution-modified kernel (RH, MDK.....)?

(2) Is it possible with 2.4.20 kernel to have full processor-module 
capabilities (unlike hibernation)?
