I have a dual-boot Asus M3N. I've compiled 2.4.x kernels and get ACPI working beautifully with a patched dsdt. However, when I boot into win2k and then back into linux, the kernel stops during ACPI initialization with an error about dsdt table being changed. Can anyone explain this or a workaround? This doesn't seem to stop my 2.6 kernels from booting and loading ACPI, but the 2.6 kernels have other unlivable problems still.. -l ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
