Well, there is no echo option you could possibly use to turn it back on
- the system has to wake up before you can do something like that, so it
has to be hardware controlled.

hmmm.  I thought it used to say "S0 S1 S3 S4 S4Bios S5" in this case.  I 
believe it means that you can use
	echo 4b>/proc/acpi/sleep
to have the BIOS do the suspend.  It has advantages and disadvantages 
over letting swsusp do it.  swsusp always works - not all machines 
support S4bios.  S4bios is typically faster.  S4bios needs a dedicated 
swap partition - and your manufacturer rarely tells you how to create it 
on a linux machine.

The good news is that your computer is well supported and you shouldn't 
have too much trouble getting answers about it here.
