You should have a directry /proc/acpi/asus or similar. The button events are reported to /proc/acpi/event. This file is observed by the acpid. SuSE parses the events to acpi_proxy. If you stop the acpid and cat /proc/acpi/event you should see the output when pressing the ASUS keys. I do not know how to implement actions for those events in /etc/sysconfig/powermanagement (the configuration file for acpi_proxy). You could also, since the keys are not really powermanagemen related, create events in /etc/acpi/events (the configuration file for acpid). I do not know how to do that either. If any bodey knows how to do that I am willing to learn that. cu Stefan ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
